Sweeten the Deal: How to Make the Healthiest Guilt Free Chocolate at Home
Chocolate… I have a love-hate relationship with it. The biggest thing I don’t like about chocolate bought at the store is that it has tons of sugar and caffeine.
Both are addictive. This is an aging drug. It puts your body into stress. It makes people tired so that they then crave more of the drug which made them tired in the first place, just because it gives them an initial kick which exhausts their adrenal glands.
I’ve discovered this recipe of a guilt free chocolate that’s actually is GOOD for you as it contains coconut oil and raw cacao powder.
Ingredients (makes 8 pieces as shown at the picture).
1 cup coconut oil
3 tsps cocoa powder
4 pitted dates, finely chopped
Melt coconut oil and mix it with raw cocoa powder.
Add chopped dates.
Poor into forms and freeze for 3-4 hours.
Keep refrigerated for 5-6 days.
Eat this instead of sugary sweets! When you move away from added sugar in your diet you will notice that your sweet cravings are subsiding.
